Foresight’s Neil Huff named to Canada’s Clean50 for 2018
As members of Foresight’s Board of Directors, we would like to congratulate Managing Director, Neil Huff, for being named to Canada’s Clean50 for 2018.
This prestigious award recognizes Neil’s incredible leadership in advancing and supporting the cleantech sector in Canada. He founded Foresight in 2013, and since then our organization has gone on to fill a critical gap in the cleantech ecosystem by providing mentoring, training and resources to BC startups. To date, Foresight startups have created 150 jobs and raised $42mm in financing. Neil also introduced the ARCTIC Challenge Program, providing a built-in market that enables Canadian innovators to demonstrate and commercialize their technologies.
Canada’s Clean50 Awards are announced annually by Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization to recognize the 50 individuals or small teams who have done the most to advance the cause of sustainability and clean capitalism in Canada over the past two years. Neil was selected for the Clean50 for 2018 from an initial pool of almost 600 nominees from across the country.
It’s an exciting time to be part of the clean economy and, thanks in part to Neil’s vision, the Canadian cleantech sector is in a stronger position than ever. We look forward to working with Neil and his team to build on Foresight’s successes and to have an even greater impact in 2018 and beyond.
