Vancouver, CANADA – June 21, 2021. Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre and Innovation Guelph today announced a partnership to encourage innovation and economic recovery by focusing on the acceleration and adoption of clean technologies.
This partnership builds on Foresight’s growing presence in Ontario, including a newly announced Climate Ventures partnership, and extends the reach and impact of Innovation Guelph in cleantech.
The two organizations have agreed to collaborate in several critical areas, including:
- SME acceleration: Foresight and Innovation Guelph will leverage the strength of their respective programming to support the growth of cleantech ventures
- Inter-provincial Cleantech Challenges: Building on Foresight’s successful Industry Challenge program, the partners will explore running sector-specific challenges that match industry with cleantech solutions.
- Cluster Strategy: The partners will explore a provincial cleantech cluster that would bring together key stakeholders, including ventures, associations, industry, investors and government.
- Cleantech events: Foresight and Innovation Guelph will promote and support each other’s webinars, workshops, and conferences and collaborate on category sector specific events.
