Senior Director of Programs (Full-Time)

Foresight has a complete acceleration ramp, supporting cleantech ventures from ideation through validation and growth. The Senior Director of Programs oversees the design and delivery of the programming that cleantech startups need to move their ventures forward. 

Reporting to the VP of Acceleration and Adoption, the Senior Director of Programs will manage cleantech education programming and oversee the advisory network. They will have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop the programming team.

The Senior Director of Programs will bring a passion for climate solutions and entrepreneurship, and experience in sustainability and innovation ecosystems to their role. They are highly skilled in program design and evaluation, project management and systems, and team capacity building and support. They will apply this knowledge and experience to deliver successful cleantech education programs and networks, and support the growth and the success of Foresight across the country.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Oversee acceleration department programs:
  • Team leadership in the form of program design and development, staff support and capacity building
  • Content alignment and systems for smooth delivery, venture management, and iteration across programs
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports 
• Oversee Advisory Network management and support:
  • Leverage advisory committees to maximize program impact
  • Ensure growing capacity for venture support
• Engage with partners at other accelerators and academic institutions to leverage best practices and align recruitment and collaboration opportunities
• Oversee program and project budgets 
• Liaise with the marketing team for recruitment management 
• Collaborate with the partnerships team on sponsorship processes and funder relationships

Experience 

• 7+ years experience in hands-on program management, in progressive leadership roles
• Strong organizational and planning ability, including experience using software tools for project management and task automation 
• Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
• Ideally, have worked with technical stakeholders (i.e. engineering and technology professionals) and in clean technology and/or innovation.
• Have executed on projects that require strong written and interpersonal communications skills, timely action, effective scheduling, and primary research & analysis
• Capable of working remotely with the support of management and team members
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for Foresight’s mission

Job Type:  Full-Time, Remote 

Rate: $80,000 – $100,000 + benefits  (key is best fit and experience for the role)
