Vancouver, CANADA – November 19, 2019 — Foresight Cleantech X Platform Calgary Cleantech Accelerator announced today the startups chosen for the Winter 2019 Launch/Deliver program in Calgary, AB. The selected startups will participate in an accelerator program for cleantech, energy, agtech and industrial innovation entrepreneurs.

The Alberta Cleantech Economic Ecosystem is in a rapid growth phase,” said Jeanette Jackson, CEO of Foresight. “Alberta has more engineers per capita than anywhere in Canada, so it’s not a surprise how quickly these opportunities filled up – Western Canada is the centre of innovation in Canadian cleantech.

Foresight’s Launch program is a structured venture development program that helps early-stage entrepreneurs to grow their business. The Deliver program helps SME Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) determine the optimal path forward, and fast track through the commercialization of their technologies.

These companies shine a light on the economic strength of cleantech in Western Canada” said Terry Rock, CEO of Platform Calgary. “It was exciting to see the breadth and depth of the applicants and their impressive technological know-how. “

Platform Calgary’s partnership with Foresight in delivering these industry-proven programs represents the only dedicated cleantech accelerator in the province and promises to cement Alberta’s reputation as a global hub for productivity and profitability in a resource-rich environment.

The companies selected for the inaugural Launch/Deliver cleantech accelerator program in Calgary are:
