Resilient Housing Solutions Wanted!

Announcement
January 13, 2022

Can you help Kanaka Bar and Lytton, BC build back better? The village and surrounding area were destroyed by wildfires in June 2021. Now, a community-led project is taking an innovative approach to rebuilding. Foresight is pleased to be a partner in the Kanaka Bar Resilient Housing Solutions project, led by Kanaka Bar Indian Band and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

We’re looking for solutions that will help build back better in Lytton. If you have a product or technology that will add to the sustainability and resilience of rebuilding homes and buildings in the Lytton region, this could be a game-changing opportunity for your venture.

The plan is to source housing building material technology providers, housing designs, and product options that will be used to build four to eight homes to validate material properties, climate resiliency, carbon and energy performance, and affordability.
