This week, Steve Liang, CTO of SensorUP, joins Foresight CEO Jeanette Jackson on the Cleantech Forward podcast. The two discuss Dr. Liang’s work with Internet of Things (IoT), and how he and his team at SensorUp are now using that technology to tackle climate change – using sensors and data to give businesses a clear picture of their emissions and where they can find efficiencies.

Dr. Steve Liang is the CTO of SensorUP, and one of the world’s foremost experts on the IoT, having authored international standards on how to interconnect the world’s IoT data into a coherent system of systems. He is a professor and the IoT research chair at the University of Calgary, and the director of the GeoSensorWeb laboratory at the U of C.
