Our goal is to achieve less than 10% municipal and industrial water loss by 2033.
A Canadian average of 20% of municipal water and energy is simply wasted due to leaks in underground infrastructure. WaterNEXT will work with major utilities and tech company partners to demonstrate how Canadian water systems can deploy Canadian innovation to improve their operating efficiency, significantly reduce losses, and cut needless energy waste.
Industry Matchmaking Series
Dive deep into our annual waterNEXT industry-led sessions that tackle current challenges and create new opportunities.
There are four events in this series running from September 2024 to February 2025.
- Utilities Sector - September 18, 2024
- PFAS and the Water & Wastewater Sector - October 16, 2024
- Critical Minerals Sector - January 15
- Built Environment Sector (Circular Water) - February 12
