Feds invests $13.9M for Indigenous-led Projects in Mining, Clean Energy Sectors

Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Canada, announced that the federal government is investing $10.4 million in seven mining projects under the Indigenous Natural Resource Partnerships Program. Additionally, the government has launched the first call for proposals for the Indigenous brands through the Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund, providing up to $3.5 million in federal funding for Indigenous engagement, knowledge sharing and capacity building — relating to clean energy and transport nation projects.

Minister MacAulay Announces Over $97 Million to Help Canadian Farmers Adopt Clean Technologies

The Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, announced more than $97 million under the Agricultural Clean Technology (ACT) Program. This funding will support 162 projects across Canada that will keep farmers on the cutting edge with clean technologies.
