In November 2021, we wrapped up our second annual #WomenLeadingCleantech campaign, highlighting some of Canada’s most prominent women leading the charge to a net zero economy.
Foresight is proud to have introduced 20 #WomenLeadingCleantech to an audience of more than 42,000 people.
The campaign featured women from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds - from academia and government agencies, to home-grown enterprises and industry leaders. Canadian women are leaving their mark on cleantech in a multitude of ways, through leadership roles, charting the course for Canada, and delivering innovative solutions.
Like the women featured in this campaign, our own CEO Jeanette Jackson, VP of Operations Elizabeth Thorsen, and all of the women at Foresight are working hard to grow and accelerate cleantech in Canada.
At Foresight, our mission is to turn Canada into a global leader in cleantech. But we also hope to inspire the next generation of change-makers and innovators along the way. We need strong examples of women in STEM for the next generation to look up to. With the group honored this year and many more examples of women leading cleantech in Canada, we are well set for success.
