Jeanette Jackson Transitions to Strategic Role
After seven years of exceptional leadership, advocacy, and growth, Jeanette Jackson is transitioning out of her role as CEO, while continuing to support Foresight’s mission as an active board member and strategic advisor.
In this capacity, she will continue to provide invaluable strategic guidance, leveraging her deep institutional knowledge to ensure Foresight continues to deliver on its mission of helping the world do more with less, sustainably. This new role allows Jeanette the flexibility to scale Canadian cleantech in new and innovative ways, while remaining a vital part of Foresight’s future. Leading Foresight for the past seven years has been the highlight of my career. The achievements of this mandate, team, and network of partners have been extraordinary, laying the foundation for Canadian cleantech to future proof the world’s important sectors.
In my new capacity, I’ll continue to support this incredible platform of cleantech champions, whose dedication and expertise is sure to propel Foresight to new levels of impact. The future of Foresight is bright!
David Sanguinetti Named Interim CEO of Foresight Canada
Stepping up as Interim CEO is David Sanguinetti—Foresight’s former Vice President of Technology and most recently Chief Operations Officer—who has worked side-by-side with Jeanette to accelerate the organization’s growth and impact.
David brings over 25 years of industry experience, an exceptional track record of shaping Foresight's core programs, and a deep commitment to technology adoption both in his career and at home. Professionally, David has introduced new technologies to five different continents. At home, he’s committed to leaving a minimal environmental footprint—adopting passive home technology with his family in Vancouver, and minimizing emissions through an electric vehicle, public transit, and active transportation methods, to name a few. This blend of expertise and personal commitment positions him as the ideal leader to drive our next phase of impact.
I am humbled and excited to build upon the remarkable foundation Jeanette Jackson and our team has laid. This organization’s mission is close to my heart, and in collaboration with our exceptional team, I plan to work diligently with our valued industry and public-sector partners to create a more productive, efficient, and resilient economy, powered by cleantech.
