Accessing capital is a major hurdle preventing cleantech startups from developing, commercializing, and scaling their ventures. Foresight’s Investor Readiness Workshop, supported by IRAP and RSM Canada, is a free, four-part workshop series that prepares Canadian cleantech companies for investment and growth. The Investor Readiness Workshop
Over the course of four weekly sessions, participants will gain the tools, basic understanding, and confidence to develop, deliver on, and effectively communicate their plan to undertake a seed capital raise, including:
- Business and financial planning
- Negotiations and valuations
- Identifying different investor types
- Navigating incentives and expectations
- Creating advisory boards
- Understanding exit strategies
