Foresight 50 highlights Canada's most investable cleantech ventures raising dilutive capital this year and into early 2025. Now in its fourth year, the Foresight 50 program showcases a remarkable collection of innovative cleantech ventures, garnering international recognition for cutting-edge climate solutions.

In 2023 alone, the program facilitated over 200 investor connections, drew more than 470 attendees, and saw our ventures featured in over 760 media releases. Our Foresight 50 ventures raised a remarkable $227M in capital in 2023, significantly advancing the cleantech ecosystem and driving Canada towards its net zero goals.

All 2024 Foresight 50 honourees will receive:

• 1:1 in-person investor matchmaking
• Profiles in Foresight-led international PR campaign
• Follow-on virtual pitch sessions with targeted investors
• Attendance at the in-person Foresight 50 Showcase on November 6
• Access to the invite-only Investor Forum for compelling sessions on the future of capital

This program is open to privately held ventures with legal standing in Canada. 

We define cleantech broadly, however, ventures able to provide a clear description of the mechanism or method for current or future environmental impact will be prioritized. Applicants are judged by an independent panel of investors and investment professionals on the basis of:

1. Stage-appropriate investability
2. (Potential) Environmental impact
3. Leadership team
4. Probability of success
