Jumpstart Your Startup is an intensive, in-person bootcamp designed to help early-stage founders understand investment fundamentals, develop a winning pitch, and gain direct exposure to investors.

The program concludes with a pitch competition, where participants will receive direct exposure to emerging regional angel investors in Truro, The Valley, and Bridgewater. One startup will win a cash prize.

• Early-stage startups based in rural Nova Scotia (Truro, the Valley, and Bridgewater)
• Founders from any industry (no prior investment experience required)
• Entrepreneurs looking to secure funding, refine their pitch, and build investor connections

Dates and Locations

Jumpstart Your Startup will be hosted in three regions across Nova Scotia, ensuring accessibility for startups throughout the province:

• Wolfville, NS: March 14 -15 (Acadia University)
• Truro, NS: March 21 - 22 (Truro Library)
• Bridgewater, NS: March 28 - 29 (Best Western Plus Bridgewater Hotel)

The final pitch competition date and location will be determined based on participant feedback after the bootcamps.
