This program provides Prairies-based SMEs with targeted funding to access external expertise, mitigate tariff-related impacts, and strengthen their readiness to diversify into new Canadian and international markets.

What You Get:

  • 50/50 cost-share model (up to a maximum total project budget of CAD $50,000)
    • Company contribution: 50%
      (up to $25,000)
    • Program contribution: 50%
      (up to $25,000)

Who It's For:

  • Prairies-based SMEs (Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba) with fewer than 500 employees
  • SMEs that meet one of the following tariff-impact criteria:
    • At least 25% of sales are to markets affected by tariffs
    • Can demonstrate a significant likelihood of negative impact from tariffs or tariff-related uncertainty (including retaliatory or counter-tariffs)
