Chris is the co-founder and CEO of Ekona Power Inc. – a large scale clean hydrogen production company and is the co founder and Managing Director of Innovative Breakthrough Energy Technologies (IBET) – a high impact climate company creator. He sits on the board of clean technology companies and works with many early-stage ventures as an EIR with the Foresight Cleantech Accelerator.

Previously, Mr. Reid was co-founder and CEO of Cellex Power since it was incorporated in 1998. Cellex was the pioneering company that introduced fuel cells products into the material handling industry, which is now the largest global market for fuel cells and hydrogen. Plug Power acquired Cellex in 2007 after which Mr. Reid worked with as the General Manager of the Motive Power Division.

Chris is a seasoned and successful energy technology entrepreneur and holds a master’s degree in Engineering.
