I bring more than 25 years of international leadership, strategy and operations experience to my role as an EiR for Foresight Canada.  I started my career as a strategic advisor to private equity funds, large corporate clients and government bodies focused in capital and technology-intensive industries including manufacturing, transportation and defense.  During the next chapter of my career, I held a number of senior leadership roles at the University of Calgary, culminating in helping launch the inaugural cohort of Creative Destruction Lab Rockies.  I have been a full-time founder with deep tech impact ventures for the last few years.  I also have a world-class education background with an MBA from Harvard Business School and a MEng / MA from Cambridge University.

The superpower I bring to my role is the ability to navigate complexity, quickly honing in on the key strategic issues my innovators face and helping them translate strategic goals into the plans and tactics to achieve them.  I also bring a strong investor lens to my counsel, having worked with private equity clients, within venture capital and with angels.  As a full-time founder and CEO of a deep tech startup I also bring significant empathy for the challenges that our innovators face.
