Ryan
St. Germaine
Executive in Residence
Ryan St. Germaine is an entrepreneur, investor, and ecosystem builder with 25+ years founding, scaling, and advising ventures. As an Executive-in-Residence with Foresight Canada—alongside Raven Indigenous Capital Partners and New Ventures BC—he advises founders on commercialization, go-to-market, and capital readiness, helping companies scale, secure investment, and thrive. His work blends ecosystem development with business storytelling, building trust and accelerating growth through meaningful partnerships.
Ryan founded and led multiple recruitment tech and edtech companies, including BC Jobs, Western Canada's largest recruitment platform, acquired by private equity, and Jobcast, which reached 40,000 installs in 18 months. That operating experience sharpened his expertise in product-led growth and partnership development. He brings an investor's lens from investment committee roles with Raven, the Digital Technology Supercluster, and Innovate BC, where he also sits on the board — work spanning AI, SaaS, mining, food, construction, and cleantech-adjacent sectors.
He is also the founder and CEO of Indigenous Tech Circle, a 1,000+ member national non-profit, and co-founder of the Indigenous Investor Challenge. Ryan works with companies, investors, and ecosystem partners looking to build genuine relationships with Indigenous communities and businesses — creating spaces for dialogue, collaboration, and measurable results.
Ryan is proud Red River Métis (MMF Citizen), and of mixed settler [Ukrainian, British, and Doukhobor] family heritage.
