Vince is an experienced financial and corporate development executive having worked over 25 years as an advisor and as an executive in industry. He has worked with companies to develop and execute focused organic and inorganic strategies to grow their brands and businesses.
His career started in corporate development at one of Canada’s leading grain handling and agribusiness companies and then as an advisor for a Toronto-based investment bank, advising clients to grow their businesses and maximize shareholder value through M&A, strategic initiatives and raising capital. He then spent over 15 years as an executive in a Family Office and its operating companies where they created market leading premium brands, robust business platforms and strong performance cultures. They grew these businesses significantly through execution of strong brand strategies, market and product expansions, acquisitions, partnerships and other expansions.
Most recently he was the CFO of a plant-based start-up. He worked with the CEO/Founder to raise the Company’s Series A financing including equity capital and significant non-dilutive grant funding to finance a significant facility and growth expansion. He was responsible for all financial, legal and administrative aspects of the business, executed a build-out of financial systems and processes and worked with the operational team to commercialize the business.
He looks forward to leveraging his broad skills and experience to help businesses in the cleantech, climate change and sustainability space to commercialize, scale, adapt and even reinvent themselves.
