Earth Tech, a 6-month cleantech accelerator program, is now officially a part of Foresight Canada’s Acceleration ramp, and we’re excited to recruit another 15 promising startups to join Earth Tech 2023.
Earth Tech has been fast-tracking the success of cleantech startups since it was founded by Climate Ventures in 2020, with 49 alumni ventures reporting $59M lifetime earned and raised, and 253 jobs supported. In recent news, Foresight announced the continuation of our joint initiative with Social Innovation Canada: Accelerate from Anywhere (AfA), including the Earth Tech program. Together, we’re expanding our growth and impact to further support cleantech innovation across the country.
Through mentorship, training, investor introductions, and networking events, Foresight’s accelerators help cleantech ventures get to market faster. Earth Tech aligns with this core purpose and approach while expanding our focus in two key areas: impact and teams. Over six months, from January to June, Earth Tech offers a deep dive into assessing and communicating environmental impact, and capacity building for leaders and teams in a supportive, cohort setting.

Earth Tech is open to cleantech startups anywhere in Canada that are developing technology with a demonstrable environmental benefit and are ready for commercialization or seed stage investment. The program is free for participating companies and strives to support underrepresented founders: women, BIPOC, and rural and remote leaders.
