Earth Tech supports cleantech ventures developing solutions that address climate change mitigation and adaptation. Both Earth Tech: 2050 and Earth Tech: Adapt follow a competitive selection process to ensure participants receive the support and resources best suited to their needs. Is Earth Tech Right For You?
Earth Tech supports Canadian cleantech ventures developing solutions with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6+ that can either:
- Reduce or remove 0.5 gigatonnes of CO2e by 2050 (Earth Tech: 2050)
- Helps Industries and ecosystems adapt to climate change (Earth Tech: Adapt)

Earth Tech: 2050
Climate Mitigation Technologies
- Cleantech ventures developing breakthrough technologies with the potential to reduce or remove 0.5 gigatonnes of CO₂e emissions by 2050
- Solutions with market demand, scalability potential, and a clear path to widespread adoption
- Founders with an IP strategy in place or in progress, and at least 1 FTE
Earth Tech: Adapt
Climate Adaptation Technologies
- Cleantech ventures developing climate adaptation solutions for industries, infrastructure, or ecosystems, focused on water, agriculture, forestry, urban development, energy, transportation, or natural resource adaptation
- Solutions with market demand, scalability potential, and a clear path to widespread adoption
- Founders with an IP strategy in place or in progress, and at least 1 FTE
Selection Process
- Step One: Application & Assessment
- Complete the application form, indicating which program best fits your venture.
- Our team will review your submission and follow up to schedule a meeting or recommend alternative programs if needed.
- Step Two: Due Diligence
- A team of experts will evaluate your technology, business plan, and impact potential.
- We’ll meet with you to discuss alignment with the program.
- Step Three: Program Kickoff
- Successful applicants will be invited to join Earth Tech’s next cohort starting in September 2025.
