The 2025 Cleantech Awards celebrate the outstanding individuals, companies, and organizations driving innovation, sustainability, and economic growth in Canada’s cleantech sector.

This year, we are hosting awards in British Columbia, Alberta, and Atlantic Canada, with nominations open for each region.

Nominate a deserving candidate who is making a tangible impact—whether they’re scaling world-class solutions, funding cleantech innovation, supporting ecosystem growth, or adopting sustainable practices in their industry.

Award Categories:

• Venture of the Year - Startup (Group): An emerging cleantech venture actively growing and already creating impact in their field (suggested TRL 1-6).
• Venture of the Year - Scaleup (Group): A cleantech venture positioned to take a leadership role on the global innovation stage (suggested TRL 7-9).
• Adopter of the Year (Group): A leading organization, company, or group adopting or championing sustainable practices in their industry.
• Cleantech Supporter of the Year (Group or Individual): An organization championing the growth and development of cleantech through support of climate-focused entrepreneurs, programs, ecosystem development, thought leadership, and community building.
• Funder of the Year (Group or Individual): A funder, investor, government program, or VC championing a net zero economy by investing in cleantech ventures.

Additional Nomination Information

Only one award category can be selected per nomination. However, you may submit multiple nominations—each requiring a separate form submission.
