Sid Nair is a Senior Vice President with Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. and leads EY’s technology M&A efforts across Canada. Over his career, he has advised on over 60 technology M&A/ financing transactions with over US$ 3.0B in value. His deals have been nominated for the Atlas M&A Deal of the Year Awards five times and he is also the winner of the M&A Club Award for Deal of the Year for the Metrio – Nasdaq transaction. His deal experience has involved companies across enterprise software, telecom, tech-enabled services & solutions, internet and ecommerce. Prior to joining the Canadian team, he was also a member of EY’s TMT investment banking teams in the US, Middle East and India. Sid also authors the firm’s point of view on deal activity and trends in the technology sector and leads the firm’s technology outreach efforts for the Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) program in Ontario.

Devon MacMurray is a Vice President with Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. and has 8 years of transaction experience​. He is focused exclusively on private technology company transactions providing sell-side, buy-side and capital-raise M&A advisory services. Devon’s work has spanned a wide range of subsectors of technology, including vertical and horizontal software, IT and tech-enabled services and digital marketing and media. Devon is regularly published on trends in technology M&A and is a consultant for the EY Ripples social impact program. He has been a speaker at a variety of technology ecosystem events and conferences including Collision Conference, Alberta IOT, VCAA, Entrepreneur’s Organization, etc. He was a part of the award-winning team of the 2022 M&A Club Transaction of the Year – Quebec for his work on the Metrio Software transaction. He is a champion for the technology sector for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Program.
