Steve is an experienced growth focused executive with extensive experience in large, established companies as well as start up / scale up companies.

Steve was CEO of BC based Carbon Engineering from 2018 to 2022, taking the company from a small scale R&D focused company into a world leader in carbon removal. His tenure involved raising significant equity funding, securing Government financial support at the Federal and Provincial level, negotiating strategic partnerships and customer contracts, building internal support functions and driving public and policy awareness for carbon removal.

Prior to Carbon Engineering, Steve was an Executive Vice President at Macdonald Dettilwer (MDA). Over a 21 year career at MDA, Steve managed large divisions, developed corporate and divisional strategy, booked contracts totalling in the billions and applied core business skills to many different domains and markets.

Steve is a graduate in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham in England and now lives in Vancouver.
