Suvranil is currently working as a senior advisor on climate smart innovation focusing on technology / partnerships/financing at the World Bank in India and SE Asia. Suvranil had supported the 250 m USD electric mobility program in India where he have engaged with governments, corporates, FI’s startups on policy/business models and financing.

Additionally, he has co-founded two global platforms at the World Bank focusing on startups in climate urban tech (including renewable/storage, built environment, waste tech) and water in Asia/Africa/ Latin America.

In 2021, Suvranil co-founded Harvard Climate Circle accelerator (Harvard Climate Circle) where he is advising 16 startups working on clean energy, circular economy, waste water reuse solutions, environmental monitoring, carbon offsets etc. He is also an advisor/mentor at Techstars Sustainability, Boston and Alabama Accelerators and a venture partner at India’s
dedicated climate fund.

Prior to the World Bank, Suvranil had worked as a Product Manager at a Financial Technologies’ company (acquired by Oracle). I am a mechanical engineer and then did his Master’s in public policy from Kennedy School.
