It’s the summer of funding for our network Foresight alumni, who have collectively raised more than $88 million in funding in the last month alone. Their impressive accomplishments will help them scale their technologies and expand their operations to new markets domestically and globally.

Here are a few of the highlights:

ZS2 Technologies received $2 million from Emissions Reduction Alberta to accelerate the development of carbon-neutral cement.

Othersphere, a Victoria based company that is developing software to help determine the best places to build new production assets for zero- and low-emission commodities, has secured $3 million in funding

Anaconda Systems was awarded $2.5 million in funding from the Government of Canada, which will allow the company to scale up its innovative composting system.

SenseNet, which uses an ultra-low power sensor network to detect forest fires, has secured a $1 million investment

CarbonCure secured USD $80 million in funding and plans to devote a bulk of the investment to expansion into Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
