waterNEXT Industry Matchmaking Series

Get Matched with Industry in the Water Technology Sector

Registration is now open for the 2024-25 Industry Matchmaking Series

Join us for the waterNEXT Industry Matchmaking Series as we bring together water technology SMEs and end-users to share insights and build connections around the opportunities and challenges this sector faces.

This series of matchmaking sessions will draw on the previously established small group reverse pitch format. For each event, a panel of end users or engineering consulting firms will focus on a targeted sector, including utilities, PFAS and the water and wastewater sector, the critical minerals mining sector, and the built environment sector.

These matchmaking sessions aim to build connections between Canadian water technology SMEs and key audiences for their products and services and help these audiences better understand innovation cycles and startup needs.

Our SME-industry matchmaking program is supported in part by funding from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).

Topics and Dates:

Critical Minerals Sector - January 15, 2025

We will be focusing on water tech SMEs and the water and wastewater sector end-users focused on supporting Mining water treatment, with an overview of the market and interests for Critical Minerals Mining.

Built Environment Sector (Circular Water) - February 12, 2025

Each includes a 60-minute panel discussion from 10 to 11 am PT.

While this is a free program, you must be a client of IRAP with an assigned Industrial Technology Advisor (ITA) in order to participate.
